Alice Rossi

Alice began early ballet training in Italy at the age of six.  At the Professional School of Ballet in Padua, Alice had the chance to learn from some of the best ballet and contemporary dance teachers in Europe. She studied ballet history, music, pointe, technique, choreography and folkloristic dance during the different workshops and international conferences she took part in. Alice learnt the Italian method, Cecchetti in combination with the Russian method, Vaganova. Her love at first sight for ballet brought Alice to discover the fabulous world of contemporary dance. Dance is a form of art that allows us to express our inner beauty throughout our body language. At the age of 20, Alice made her first steps into the immense universe of yoga. Alice strongly believes that a regular yoga practice, meditation and mindfulness can enhance the quality of our lives. Yoga teaches us the art of patience, kindness and compassion. After travelling, working and sailing around the world, Alice found her happy place in Geelong, where she completed her 200 hours Yukti Yoga Teacher Training at Pilates and Yoga Styles and started teaching with determination and compassion. At The Loft, she has the chance to combine her greatest passions, dance and yoga, in a unique, welcoming place for teaching and learning. In 2018 Alice completed her Barre Teacher Training at The Loft and started to teach barre, along side with different levels of ballet, yoga, contemporary, stretch and retro classes. Meanwhile, in 2019 she took on a new challenge and, after two years of learning Pole Dancing, she started teaching beginner pole, stretching and choreography classes at Kylie J Pole Studio.
